Madison Maxey and Tessa Lewis, former college roomates, embarked on their quest for a better blazer in December 2011 and haven't looked back since.
Maddy, a focused and dedicated entreprenur with a passion for garment design, realized that she could make a better blazer than what's on the current market and set to work making her vision a reality. Since the tender age of 16,she's been interning both internationally and domestically for companies lke Nylon Magazine, Tommy Hilfiger, Peter Som, Zandra Rhodes and Donna Ricco. Through living in France and through routine trips to Shanghai, she has developed a cultural clash aesthetic that makes her designs both interesting and sophisticated. Her colorful and creative work has gained awards from the CFDA and Teen Vogue alike.
Tessa balances out the team with her business savvy and experience working for start-ups in New York city. With a sharp eye for graphic design, she adds a polished edge to everything she touches.
Together the girls have created a business with an identity all its own.
